So, it’s true when we said that greatness comes from God. If not, there’s no explanations to bolster the fact that the young David defeated the giant Goliath in 1 Samuel 17:49. What all the armies of Israel couldn’t do at that time. His father Jesse didn’t train him for that. David went on to become the king, while Kingship didn’t exist in their lineage. Nobody could ever have agreed to that, but only to say that greatness comes from God.
SCRIPTURE: “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.” (Genesis 12:2 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: You see, beloved, there are times that for generations to come, everything is the same, but suddenly God would choose for Himself a person, blessed him, and shone down His favor on him. That was the case of David. Now you may have come from a family, where people are rarely great. Just like David, God will defy all odds and make of you a great generation. God wants every generation to increase, and I pray for you, yours won’t be an exception. Amen! Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Life maybe so normal for a person, until God’s greatness comes upon him, his life will never remain the same.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, go to God in prayers and ask Him for the grace to discover your greatness, and to make of you a great generation.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to discover my greatness, and make of me a great generation, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord help your life, give you the grace to discover your greatness and make of you a great generation, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
