Amongst the few things we talked about yesterday is that the reason why too many of us, including the Christians are confused and stagnated in life, is owed to the fact that they are yet to discover the reason for their existence. And we swiftly retorted that “for a man to truly discover the reason for his existence to soar higher in life, the Spirit of the Lord must be upon him” (see Luke 4:18). Yes, this is true. So, it is wise, we carefully build upon these details.
SCRIPTURE: Until at last the Spirit is poured out on us from heaven. Then the wilderness will become a fertile field, and the fertile field will yield bountiful crops. (Isaiah 32:15 NLT)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: The Scripture confirms two things that would happen to us when the Spirit of the Lord comes upon us. Firstly, we would become fertile and produce abundant crops (Isa 32:15). When the Spirit of God comes down upon a man, He releases upon him clarity of purpose (Isa 30:21). Such a man would receive unparalleled knowledge, wisdom, and insights to do exploit (Prov. 2:6). He stands out among his equals. He is bestowed with uncommon ideas to discover his intent abilities and unleash them unto his generation (Jer 33:3). Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: When the Spirit of God comes down upon a man, He eliminates trial and error, and releases upon him clarity of purpose (Isa 30:21).
RESPONSIBILITY: So, what more can we say? Ask God to send His Spirit upon your life.
PRAYER: O LORD, send forth your Spirit upon my life and give me the clarity of purpose, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: As the Spirit of the Lord comes upon you, may He illuminate every darkness in your life, even as you discover the reason of your existence to soar higher in life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
