What the enemy meant to use to disgrace our Lord and Master Jesus, God has turned it into victory, to the glory of God and to the shame of the devil. This is a mystery beyond human comprehension. Though Jesus has said it in Galilee, “that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and that He would rise again on the third day” (Lk 24:7). But God blinded the devil to the knowledge of this truth, so that salvation would come to man.
SCRIPTURE: But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. (Acts 2:24 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, beloved, I pray for you; today as Christ has defeated the powers of the enemy and darkness, and rose again from the death, may everything that’s death in your life resurrects again. As the powers of death and the shackles of the grave could not hold Jesus’ captive, may every power that has held you down in the past lose its hold on you now and forever in Jesus’ name. “For if the son of Man sets you free, you’re free indeed” (Jn 8:36). Congratulations! I celebrate you on this special day of Christ’s resurrection, and I say happy Easter to you and yours!
NOTE THIS: The resurrection of Christ completes the salvation of man from sin, and the inauguration of God’s kingdom on earth.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, rejoice for our Lord Jesus has risen from the death. He is risen indeed, Alleluia!
PRAYER: O LORD JESUS, thank You for saving my soul. May the joy of Easter remain with me always, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: May the joy of Easter brings an unending blessing and deliverance in your life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
