Again, beloved, when we cling to Christ, our heart is changed, and our identity is transformed. Yes, this is true. For through our relationship with Christ, our hearts are transformed from hardness to tenderness, from selfishness to compassion, as the love of Christ permeates and changes us from within.
SCRIPTURE: “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” – Ezekiel 36:26 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Our identity is transformed from being defined by the world to being children of God, chosen, loved, and redeemed by His grace (Galatians 3:26). Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Through our union with Christ, we are transformed into new creations, leaving behind the old patterns of sin, and embracing a life characterized by righteousness and holiness, (2 Corinthians 5:17).
RESPONSIBILITY: So dearly beloved, let us ask God for the grace to always cling to Christ, and may it cause sincere transformation in our lives.
PRAYER: Oh LORD, help us to cling to You with all our hearts, and may it initiate a profound transformation in our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As we cling to Christ our ultimate solution, may we be shaped into the likeness of God and be empowered to live out His purposes for our lives. In the name of Jesus’ Amen!
