CHRIST IS THE ANSWER

We’re all accustomed to the benefits, payback or what we get of being in Christ, but we are seldom particularly not interested to know Him who is the giver and the owner of those benefits. Of course, the benefits of being in Christ are glorious, but we fail to recall that, it’s the knowledge of Christ that guarantees the payback we desire. Christ is the answer! And one may ask, answer to what? Let’s look at the Scripture, Acts 4:12.
SCRIPTURE: And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) ESV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Every solution we seek in life, is enveloped at the place of salvation. But very often today we have a pseudo gospel—an offer of life, of peace, of prosperity, of freedom from illness and trouble. Yes, these and many more are the paybacks of being in Christ, but Christ will not be an answer to any of these, if we haven’t beckoned to the call of redemption. And the way in which we enter into it is through the cross of Jesus, where God dealt with our sins, and separated us for Himself. There’s no other way into life in Christ (John 14:6).
The new life comes through sharing in Christ’s death on the cross and His resurrection (1 Cor. 15:22). And that’s where the salvation comes, and yet the answer. We can’t single out one of these, for the two forms a complete package for our salvation. So, if Christ must be the answer, we must first of all be saved. Stay Lifted!

RESPONSIBILITY: Think Christ, seek Christ, and be saved.
PRAYER: O LORD JESUS, cause me not to seek after Your gains alone, show me the way of the cross, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you follow Christ, may He be an answer to your many challenges in life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
