BECOME THE BLESSING YOU DESIRE (2)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: WEDNESDAY, 24 MAY 2023
So, yesterday, we were able to establish that when we take the time to invest in others, the seeds we sow will always come back to us. And when we become a blessing to them, God will always make sure we have the blessings we need. But then, one may ask, “how could this happen, and what is the mystery behind the act?” It’s Scriptural and exclusively a divine principle, “the generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself” (Proverbs 11:25).
SCRIPTURE: One gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds what is right, only to become poor. (Proverbs 11:24 BSB)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, beloved, I tell you, God is divine. He uses people. He has no hands to heal except our hands, no voice to encourage except our voice. At some point in our lives, God will bring people across our path so we can be the answer to their prayer. When they’re worried, you comfort and encourage them. Some are naked, hungry, and homeless; you clothe them, feed them, and provide a shelter over their head. You may not realize it, but you are a blessing. And surely, I tell you, God will bless you. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Everyone has a blessing locked inside him, but it may not be active until it finds expression in others.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, dearly beloved, once again ask God to make you the answer to people’s prayer and give you the grace to be a blessing to others.
PRAYER: O LORD, make me the answer to people’s prayer and give me the grace to be a blessing to others, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you become the answer to people’s prayer, and a blessing to others, may the Lord bless you abundantly and establish you and yours, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Proverbs 11:24-25
