So, another practical step we can take to access the new way of living is to put our trust in God. You see, beloved, the worries of life are endless, but it takes a person whose trust is in God Almighty to overcome them all. And, no matter what he’s going through in life, by the help of God, he would develop a calmer, more peaceful mind. This is so true. Hence, the apostle Paul encouraged us in Phil 4:6, and he said,
SCRIPTURE: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Phil 4:6 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, this is how it works. When we put our trust in God, He would take away our sorrows and worries and give us peace. However, this doesn’t just happen overnight, we must learn to practice living one day at a time, give ourselves, commit our thoughts, and every part of us to the care of God. Instead of worrying, we believe God and watch Him work on our behalf. This is the new way of living, and it will help make our life less complex. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: The worries of life are endless, but it takes a person whose trust is in God Almighty to overcome them all.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, pray and ask God for the strength to stop worrying, and begin to trust in Him always (see Philippians 4:6).
PRAYER: O LORD, help me to stop worrying and give me the grace to trust in You always, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you begin to trust in God, may the Lord give you the grace to overcome every trouble and worries in your life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
