YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF GOD AND YOUR WELLBEING IN LIFE
TIMES OF REFRESHING
ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL by Obiorah Prince Emeka
DATE: SATURDAY 16 JANUARY 2021
Many people want an abundance of God’s grace and peace, but they are unwilling to put forth the effort to get to know Him better. The reason why some Christians experience setbacks in life and delay in destiny fulfilment is owed to the fact that they don’t know their God. This is because a person’s knowledge of God determines his wellbeing, happiness and comfort in life.
SCRIPTURE:
Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, (2 Peter 1:2) NIV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
To the extent we know God, that extent His love, care and abundant blessings are available to us.
One of the convinced factors that affects our well-being in life, is our personal, intimate, experiential knowledge of God. The benefits of knowing God are literally exciting. And here are some of the good things we will enjoy as our knowledge of God grows.
1. Your knowledge of God gives you access to an inexpressible delight and glorious joy, (1 Peter 1:8).
2. God’s favour, grace and peace are increased in the believer’s life by the full knowledge of God, (2 Peter 1:2).
3. We enjoy God’s help and His faithful assistance: We enjoy God’s help to the extent that we know Him. If we do not know Him very well, we will not know what help He has available for us, (Psalm 50:15, 54:4).
Beloved, to enjoy the privileges God offers us freely, we must grow in our knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS:
To the extent we know God, that extent His love, care and abundant blessings are available to us.
RESPONSIBILITY:
We get to know God through bible study and prayer. So, study and pray to know more of God.
PRAYER:
O LORD, I want to know You. Give me the grace to know You more and more, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD:
May God favour and bless you more as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord, Amen.
