YOUR DESTINY IS WAITING ON YOU (3)

TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org

DATE: SATURDAY, 18 FEBRUARY 2023

Again, beloved, if you want to lead a successful life and accomplish your destiny, you will need to evaluate yourself and change your habit. Yes, it’s true. So, I tell you this, too many people unconsciously sabotage their own progress through terrible habit and bad lifestyle. It could be a lazy attitude to work, justifying failures and making unnecessary excuses about it. But the truth of the matter is, these habits are so awful. They are the enemy of your destiny. They have suffocated and buried too many destinies and still counting. So, don’t patronize them. No wonder the Bible says in Proverbs 13:4,

SCRIPTURE: Lazy people want much but get little, but those who work hard will prosper. (Proverbs 13:4 NLT)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, no matter how determined a person is to start strong on his purpose and do well, if he has self-sabotaging habits or tendencies, he might not get anywhere. So, how then do you go about evaluating yourself and change your habit? Take some time and reflect on your habits and attitudes, especially as it regards to work. Identify them and prayerfully make conscious efforts to change them. As you begin to work on them, learn through them, turn them into a lifestyle and make them a permanent part of your life. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: Whatever affects your destiny has affected your life. Bad habit is one of them, deal with it now before it deals with your destiny.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, ask God for the grace to evaluate yourself and change the bad habits you have.

PRAYER: Oh Lord, give me the grace to evaluate myself and change my habits for good, in Jesus’s name, Amen!

PROPHETIC WORD: As the Lord is helping you to evaluate yourself, may He cause you to have great habits in life and towards your purpose, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

BIBLE TEXTS: Proverbs 13:4
