WALKING IN INTEGRITY
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: SATURDAY, 17 JULY 2021
There’s a lot of compromise in our society, it’s so depraved that we are careless and thoughtless of being honest. We wonder why we can’t get ahead in life, it’s because we don’t have integrity. Integrity is the foundation that a successful life is built on. It’s the basis and substance of life. Lack of integrity is void of life and it’s so calamitous.
SCRIPTURE: Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out. (Proverbs 10:9) ESV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: A person can have talent, great vision, determination, but without integrity, he won’t reach his highest potential. There are certain degrees of breakthrough a person without integrity will never achieve, but a person of integrity is always successful in all he does, (Psalm 1:1-3). He does the right thing, even when no one is watching. He does not celebrate evil, nor applaud moral decadence. He is always truthful and doesn’t make underhanded promises.
Beloved, the people of integrity are divinely protected. Any wonder, the Scripture says, “the integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them” (Proverbs 11:3). They don’t cut corners, because nobody will find out about it. They give it their best whether anyone is there or not. Now the question is, do you have integrity? Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS: A person can have talent, great vision, determination, but without integrity, he won’t reach his highest potential.
RESPONSIBILITY: Ask God for the grace for integrity.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace for integrity and guide me to walk in integrity, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: May God help your life, and guide you to walk in integrity, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Proverbs 10:9; 11:3; Psalm 1:1-3
