UNDERSTANDING THE SEASONS OF PURPOSE (6)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: SATURDAY, 2 DECEMBER 2023
Yet again, beloved, another fundamental thing we must do to understand the seasons of purpose and navigate life’s journey with resilience and adaptability is to be open to course correction. Yes, this is true and very important. You see, life is dynamic and often unpredictable. Being open to course correction involves acknowledging and embracing the reality that circumstances and opportunities can change, and being able to adapt to new information and evolving situations is a strength.
SCRIPTURE: “My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.” — Proverbs 3:11-12 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Being open to course correction is rare life’s principle. It allows you to respond effectively to the ever-changing landscape of life. It makes you bold and confident and teaches you to see life differently. You would see setbacks and challenges as inherent part of life’s journey. Instead of viewing them as failures, you see them as opportunities for learning and growth. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Being open to course correction is not a sign of weakness but a demonstration of wisdom and resilience. It allows you to navigate life with a dynamic and adaptive mindset.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, let’s ask God for the grace to be open to course correction, even as we seek to understand the seasons of our purpose in life.
PRAYER: O LORD, give us the grace to be open to course correction and understand the seasons of our purpose, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord bless our efforts and confirm our endeavors in life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Proverbs 3:11-12
