TRUSTING GOD’S TIMING (1)
TIMES OF REFRESHING DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: FRIDAY, 5 JULY 2024
Trusting God’s timing can be one of the most challenging aspects of our faith journey. Our human nature craves control and certainty, yet God calls us to surrender our timelines and trust in His perfect plan. As we explore this topic, let us anchor our hearts in the truth that God’s timing is always perfect, even when it doesn’t align with our own.
SCRIPTURE: “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens… He has made everything beautiful in its time.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1-11 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: God’s view of time is vastly different from ours. God sees the end from the beginning and orchestrates every detail of our lives according to His divine plan. Isaiah 55:8-9 reminds us that God’s thoughts and ways are higher than ours. Trusting His timing means acknowledging that He knows what is best for us, even when we do not understand His methods or timing. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Trusting God’s timing involves surrendering our control and submitting to His will.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, as we reflect on the importance of trusting God’s timing, let us ask ourselves: In what areas of my life am I struggling to trust God’s timing? How can I cultivate patience and faith during these waiting periods? Am I willing to surrender my timelines and embrace His perfect plan?
PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your perfect timing and divine wisdom. Help us to trust in Your plans and purposes, even when we do not understand them. And give us the patience and faith to wait on You, knowing that Your ways are higher than ours. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
PROPHETIC WORD: May we grow in our trust of God’s timing, finding peace and hope in His sovereign plans for our lives. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Ecci. 3:1-3, Isaiah 55:8-9
