TROUBLE DON’T LAST ALWAYS

TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE: THURSDAY 11 MARCH 2021

No one prays for difficulties to come. But the truth of the matter is that we all face problems at some point in our lives. Every now and then it seems like the more we pray the worse it gets. It’s easy to live discouraged and worried, “God why me?”. But the good news is that whatever difficulty that you are into now, won’t last very long. In fact, its expiring date is now! In your sickness, I believe healing is coming, in bondage, freedom is coming. God is restoring hopes to that shattered relationship, and you shall experience breakthrough again in your business.

SCRIPTURE: For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! (2 Corinthians 4:17-18) NLT

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: God won’t let you get in a situation that he can’t bring you out of. If the trouble was too much, He wouldn’t have allowed it.

In Job 1&2, Job went through a great difficulty. He was doing the right thing, honoring God, and the worst happened. He lost his business, lost his children, lost his health. He had boils all over his body, very painful. However, the Scriptures says in vs 2:10, “So in all this, Job said nothing wrong”. Just because we’re people of faith doesn’t mean we won’t have difficulties. You can be very prayerful and doing the right thing, and yet come into trouble. The promise we have is not that trouble won’t come, but that the trouble is not going to last.

So Beloved, when you’re down in difficulties, and things happen just like with Job; you don’t understand, suddenly you come down with an illness, people or someone you trust so much just turned on you, you had a setback in your business, so many is happening at the same time, and it looks as if you are the black sheep of everything you do. I know how it feels; it hurts, it’s easy to live worried and thinking. But don’t worry, troubles don’t last always, don’t be discouraged, don’t give up on your dreams, just soon all will be over. Stay Inspired!

NOTE THIS: God won’t let you get in a situation that he can’t bring you out of. If the trouble was too much, He wouldn’t have allowed it.

RESPONSIBILITY: In your difficulties, don’t be discouraged. Always keep the right perspective, soon it shall turn around.

PRAYER:  O LORD, I trust in You. take away every trouble in my life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord manifest in your life and cause you to rejoice, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

BIBLE TEXTS: 2 Cor 4:17-18, Job 1:13-22, 2:1-10
