THINK BEYOND THE LOGICAL (2)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: MONDAY, 6 JUNE 2022
Another focus of thinking beyond the logical is learning to do things differently, in an extraordinary way, and yet achieving the same results. But the key is paying attention to God’s instruction and following His precepts. While we do resolve problems of life in some way, however, the challenge is what worked in the past may not work today. Sometimes God would do things in a different way. So, we need to carefully think beyond the normal, asking God for directions and genuinely follow His instructions.
SCRIPTURE: “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me? (Jeremiah 32:27 ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Recall Moses in the wilderness with the Israelites, when they ran out of water, God instructed Moses to strike the rock, he did, and water came forth (Exo 17:6). At a different time, same situation came up, God told Moses to speak to the rock. But the Bible recorded, “Moses struck the rock instead of speaking to the rock” (Num 20:11). Now, the issue is, Moses got used to the old method that produced results, but little did he know that God is a God of freshness, He likes to do new things (Isa 43:19). That God did something some way the last time doesn’t mean He will do it the same way this time.
Beloved, what I am trying to say is this; yesterday’s information may not work today. God may have done it before, He will do it again. But you need to be attentive, being prayerfully alert to think beyond the usual, and you will get daily dose directions, then be meticulous to carry them out. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: That God did something some way the last time doesn’t mean He will do it the same way this time. He is a God of wonders.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, go to God in prayer, ask Him to help your life and give you the grace to always think beyond the logical in all that you do in life.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to always think beyond the logical in life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: May God give you the grace to always think beyond the logical in all that you do, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Jeremiah 32:27
