Sometimes in life, we’re trying to make a lump out of nothing. We would pick a mere fault about us and keep magnifying it until it becomes an issue and would begin to negatively affect us. But, beloved, the truth is, there is nothing wrong with you. That problem you see about yourself and count as an error in your life, doesn’t exist anywhere but in your mind. So, when you keep your mind away from it, it would go away. That’s why the apostle Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 1:7; and he said,
SCRIPTURE: God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Again, what we focus on, we amplify. If we focus on our wrongs, they will amplify. And if we focus on what’s right about us, the right thing will increase and amplify in our lives. They don’t change in actual size; we’re simply making them bigger in our mind. So, we must learn to always guard our thoughts (Proverbs 4:23) and begin to focus on the great and wonderful things God said about us. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: What you focus on, you amplify. If you focus on your wrongs, they will amplify. And if you focus on what’s right about you, the right thing will increase and amplify in your life.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, quit amplifying what’s wrong about you, and start focusing on what God said about you.
PRAYER: O Lord, purge my mind, and give me the grace to focus on the right things about my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you begin to focus on the promises of God in your life, may you find peace and rest in God. in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
