THERE IS MORE TO LIFE
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: THURSDAY, 2 FEBRUARY 2023
The reason why too many people lead a sad and depressed life is because they have lost their passion and enthusiasm about life. They think they have exhausted the joy and the excitement of living, and to them nothing matters again in life. So, they drag through and around life in misery and despair. But the truth of the matter is, there is more to life. Yes, there’s more to life than just merely living. God didn’t breathe His life into us to drag through life with no enthusiasm, He wanted more than that. That’s why Jesus counselled us in the gospel of Matthew 6:25, He said,
SCRIPTURE: “Therefore I tell you, stop being worried or anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted) about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, as to what you will wear. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing? (Matt 6:25 AMP)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, beloved, you may have had some setbacks, things didn’t go the way you planned, but this is a new day. God wants to breathe new life back into you. If you’ll get in agreement with God today, get your passion back, and understand that there’s more to life, then God will cause a new break in your life. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: No matter what your situation is in life, don’t let it cause you to live sad and misery, always know that there’s more to life.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, get in agreement with God, and learn to get your passion back in life.
PRAYER: Oh Lord, thank You for Your Word today. Please give me the grace to live a life full of passion, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you begin to live passionately, may the Lord give you the reason to be hopeful and joyful in life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
