We live in a time where all the people seek for is success in life, and no one cares about a life beyond our times here on earth. We’re so engulfed with prosperity matters that we care so little about the eternity, even when it’s so glaring to us that the time is too brief. Hence, it becomes so necessary, we remind ourselves about this all-important matter in our lives.
SCRIPTURE: Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. (3 John 1:2 NKJV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: But the truth about this matter is, the more conscious and thoughtful, and yet active you’re about the kingdom matters, the more successful you would become in all that you do in life (Mt 6:33). But then again, we must be aware the time is continuously ticking down, the time lost is never regained. So, we need to remedy the time; even as we desire to have a good life, we must also be mindful of eternity and the prosperity of our soul (3 Jn 1:2). Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: The joy of the success we have in life is that there is something more glorious than this life—the eternal life.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, we must seek to have a good life on earth while we think more about eternity—the glorious life.
PRAYER: O LORD, help my life. As I live, cause me to be ever conscious of eternity, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: May you prosper even as your soul prospers, in your times of need, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
