THE SECRET TO LIVING A HAPPY LIFE (2)

Another top kingdom secret to living a happy life is ‘dwelling always in the presence of God’ (Ps 16:11). This is true. And I share this with you in confidence, there’s nowhere we can find true joy and happiness if not in the presence of God.
SCRIPTURE: You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. (Psalm 16:11 ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, no amount of wealth, riches, nor worldly possessions could buy you true joy and happiness. There is no satisfaction in them, the more you acquire them the more you feel to acquire more. But, in the presence of God, there is fullness of joy, and at His right hand are pleasures forever. Any wonder David stepped out early into the wilderness of Judah to seek for the Lord with his soul and flesh (Ps 63:1-2). It’s because he understood this secret. And the Psalmist also exclaimed ‘they feasted on the abundance of the house of God, as the Lord fed and gave them drink from the rivers of pleasure (Ps 36:8). Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Dwelling in the presence of God creates peace like a river.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, deliberately desire to dwell always in God’s presence.
PRAYER: O LORD, help my life. Give me the grace to dwell always in Your presence all the days of my life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you dwell in God’s presence, may you be happy and experience peace like a river, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
