God wants us to live happy and amazed by His goodness in our lives, but in our quest for happiness, most often, we become despondent. So, in this series we, shall be exploring top kingdom secrets to living a happy life and how we can engage them in our lives to achieve maximum results.
SCRIPTURE: For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (Jer 29:11 AMP)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Thus, one of the secrets to living a happy life is ‘being thankful to God’. We must develop a habit of purposely being thankful to God for everything He has done in our lives, even to the smallest detail (1 Thess 5:18). We don’t thank God only when good and the big things happened, we also thank Him when the bad and little things happened. This is how it works; when you begin to thank God, God will take away every ugly situation and problem in your life and give you peace, endless joy, and happiness (Phil 4:7). So beloved, regardless of what is happening around you, learn to thank God at all times. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: The greatest thing we can be thankful for is God—that we know Him and that He sent Jesus to pay the price for our sins!
RESPONSIBILITY: So, learn to always thank God, in good times and in bad times.
PRAYER: O LORD, I thank You. Give me the grace to always be thankful to You in my life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you begin to thank God, may God turn all your sorrows into joy and give you eternal peace and happiness, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
