THE REVIVAL ROOM: MAKING SPACE FOR GOD TO MOVE (3)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Friday, 11 April 2025
Topic: The Revival Room: Making Space for God to Move (3)
Focus: A Table for Fellowship
Message:
Revival doesn’t start in crowds—it starts in hearts that make room. Learn to prepare your life to host a move of God.
Key Verse:
📖 2 Kings 4:10 – “Let’s make a small room… and put in it a bed, a table…”
Devotional:
When the Shunammite woman prepared the revival room, she included a table—a place of fellowship. This detail reminds us that revival is not just about signs and wonders—it’s about relationship. True revival draws us closer to Jesus. It deepens our friendship with Him. Revival that doesn’t lead to deeper intimacy is just noise. God is not looking for a rented moment of excitement—He desires a seated life of communion. Like the disciples on the road to Emmaus, it was when Jesus sat at the table and broke bread that their eyes were opened.
📖 Scripture Reading:
Revelation 3:20 – “If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”
Luke 24:30-31 – “When He was at the table with them, He took bread… then their eyes were opened.”
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
Revival starts when we make space to sit with Him—not just shout at Him. When you give God a table, He brings His presence and revelation. So, beloved, today, sit with God—not just in prayer requests but in fellowship. Talk to Him. Listen. Let His Word speak. Open your heart like you would with a friend. He’s not just Lord—He’s present. He’s near. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
Revival flows through relationship, not religion.
🛡️ Responsibilities:
- Have a “table time” with Jesus today. Turn off distractions. Read one passage slowly. Talk to Him about your day, your thoughts, your heart.
- Ask Him: “Jesus, what’s on Your heart today?”
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, I welcome You to my table. Not just as a guest—but as the center. Let our fellowship deepen. Let our intimacy grow. Open my eyes, and speak to me in the stillness. I want more than power—I want You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I host His presence! My heart is His home. My table is open. Revival flows from my relationship with Jesus! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
📖 Bible Texts:
2 Kings 4:10, Revelation 3:20, Luke 24: 30-31
