THE POWER OF CHRIST IN ME: LIVING A TRANSFORMED LIFE (3)

TIMES OF REFRESHING DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org

DATE: MONDAY, 16 SEPTEMBER 2024

Again, beloved, living a transformed life requires daily surrender. It means choosing, moment by moment, to allow Christ to live through us, to guide our thoughts, words, and actions. We let go of our agenda and embrace His. This process can be challenging, as our old habits and fears sometimes try to reclaim control, but as we submit to Christ, we experience a deeper sense of peace and freedom.

SCRIPTURE: “For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—because anyone who has died has been set free from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.” — Romans 6:6-8 (NIV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: The power of Christ living in us is a gift, but it’s also a calling. We are called to be Christs’ hands and feet in this world, reflecting His love, grace, and truth in all that we do. As we live out this transformed life, others will see Christ in us and be drawn to Him. It’s a beautiful and humbling truth: Christ chooses to work through us, to touch lives and bring transformation to the world around us. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: Living a new life in Christ, our identity is no longer based on who we are or what we do, but on who Christ is in us. We are no longer defined by our past mistakes, weaknesses, or failures, but by His righteousness, grace, and strength.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, as you embrace your new identity in Christ, allow His righteousness, grace, and strength to define who you are and guide how you live.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the incredible truth that my identity is no longer rooted in my past mistakes, failures, or weaknesses, but in Christ alone. Help me to let go of the labels the world tries to place on me, and to see myself as You see me—loved, redeemed, and made new in Christ. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

PROPHETIC WORD: May God help you to live with confidence and peace and cause your life to reflect this new identity. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
