THE PEACE OF CHRISTMAS

Message: Jesus, the Prince of Peace, came to reconcile us to God and bring peace to our hearts, relationships, and the world.
At the heart of Christmas is peace—the peace Jesus came to bring into a world filled with chaos, sin, and division. When the angels announced His birth, they declared, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests” (Luke 2:14). This peace isn’t just the absence of conflict but the presence of God’s reconciling love, restoring us to Him and to one another.
Jesus, the Prince of Peace, offers us peace in three dimensions: peace with God, peace within ourselves, and peace with others. His sacrifice on the cross reconciles us to God, ending the enmity caused by sin. This peace then fills our hearts, calming our fears and giving us confidence in God’s sovereignty. Finally, His peace empowers us to extend forgiveness, love, and unity to those around us, reflecting the heart of the Savior.
In a world still marked by strife and turmoil, the peace of Christmas is a reminder that true and lasting peace is found only in Jesus. He invites us to receive His peace and become instruments of His reconciliation in the world.

So, beloved, take a moment today to rest in the peace of Jesus. Reflect on His gift of peace and how it has brought calm and clarity to your life. Surrender any worries or fears to Him, trusting that His peace surpasses all understanding. Seek to bring peace into your relationships, showing grace and forgiveness where needed. Stay Refreshed!

The peace of Jesus is not temporary or superficial like the world’s peace; it is deep, lasting, and transformative, reconciling us to God and calming our hearts.
