THE LORD WILL INTERCEDE FOR YOU
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: FRIDAY, 15 SEPTEMBER 2023
In our journey of faith, there are moments when we find ourselves in situations that seem insurmountable. We may encounter circumstances where we feel as though there is no one to turn to, and the burdens we carry seem too heavy to bear. We may feel alone and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and helpless. But during these moments, it’s essential to remember the promise found in Isaiah 59:16,
SCRIPTURE: “He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no one to intercede; then his own arm brought him salvation, and his righteousness upheld him.”– Isaiah 59:16 (ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: The above Scripture verse reminds us that even when it seems like no one else can or will help us, the Lord is always there to intercede on our behalf. The imagery of God’s “own arm” achieving salvation for us is a powerful reminder of God’s strength and His willingness to step in when no one else can. So, beloved, I tell you, in your struggles and challenges, God sees you. Fear not, He will intercede for you. He is not oblivious to our pain, suffering, or challenges. He is intimately aware of what we’re going through, and He cares deeply about us. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: In times of distress, remember that you are not alone. The Lord, your ever-present help, stands ready to intercede on your behalf. Even when it seems like no one else can or will step in, God’s arm is outstretched to save and support you.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, place your trust in Him, and you will find the strength to overcome any challenge that comes your way.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the assurance that You see my struggles and that You are always ready to intercede on my behalf. Help me to trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan, even when I can’t see a way out of my circumstances, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As we wait and trust in the Lord, may He intercede for us, strengthen our faith, and sustain us, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
