THE LORD WILL GO BEFORE YOU (5)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Sunday, 5 December 2025
Focus: Strengthened for the Journey
The journey of life can be overwhelming at times. The weight of responsibilities, unexpected challenges, and the unknowns of a new year can leave us feeling weary. But God promises to give strength to those who wait on Him. The Hebrew word for “wait” in Isaiah 40:31 implies trust and expectation—leaning on God and depending on His power rather than our own.
Therefore, beloved, God doesn’t expect you to navigate life in your own strength. His strength is made perfect in your weakness, and He renews you daily as you place your hope in Him. No matter how long the journey ahead may seem, God’s grace is sufficient to sustain you. You don’t have to carry the burden alone—He will lift you up and empower you to rise above every obstacle.
Scripture Reading:
Isaiah 40:31 – “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Refreshing for the Day:
Take a moment today to lay your burdens before God and ask Him to renew your strength. Trust Him to sustain you in every challenge and to give you the endurance to press forward. Stay Refreshed!
Note This:
God’s strength is inexhaustible, and He freely gives it to those who rely on Him.

What burdens do you need to surrender to God today? How can you trust Him to strengthen you for the journey ahead?
