Focus: God Goes Before Us
Message: As we step into a new year, we are reminded that God goes before us, preparing the way and leading us forward.
The promise that God goes before us is not just a comforting thought; it is a declaration of His sovereignty. When Moses reminded the Israelites of this truth, they were on the brink of stepping into the unknown—the Promised Land filled with giants, fortified cities, and uncertainties. Yet, Moses boldly declared that the Lord had already gone ahead of them, securing their victory and preparing their path.
This same God goes before you. He knows the challenges and opportunities you will face in the new year. His hand is already at work, orchestrating events, opening doors, and removing obstacles. Even when the way seems unclear, you can walk forward with confidence, knowing that God is not just with you—He is ahead of you, ensuring His purposes for your life are fulfilled.
Scripture Reading:
Deuteronomy 31:8 – “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
Refreshing for the Day:
So, dearly, beloved, pause and reflect on this truth: God is already in your future. Thank Him for preparing the way and ask Him to help you trust His guidance as you step into the year 2025. Stay Refreshed!
