THE LORD WILL FIX YOU (2)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: TUESDAY, 26 SEPTEMBER 2023
When we’re broken, we often feel like our lives are a puzzle with missing pieces, too complicated to put back together. However, our God is the master craftsman, and He specializes in restoration. He can take the broken pieces of our lives and mend them into something beautiful. So, beloved, here are three essential truths to hold onto when you feel broken. Firstly, know that God is close to you. In your brokenness, God is not far away. He is as near as your whispered prayer. He hears the cries of your heart and sees the tears you shed. He is not a distant observer but a loving Father who longs to embrace you and heal your wounds.
Bottom of FormSCRIPTURE: “The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Secondly, the Lord understands your pain. Jesus, our Savior, understands what it means to be broken. He endured unimaginable suffering on the cross so that we could find healing and redemption. He knows the depths of human pain, and He is compassionate toward your struggles. And thirdly, always know that restoration is possible: The Lord doesn’t just offer comfort in your brokenness; He offers restoration too. He can take your shattered dreams, broken relationships, and wounded heart and make them whole again. Through His grace and power, you can find healing and purpose in the midst of your brokenness. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: No matter how crushed and broken your life may be, the Lord will pick you up and fix you back again.
RESPONSIBILITY: Just believe in God and trust that He will fix you.
PRAYER: O God, I trust that you understand my pain and that you are working to restore me. Please fix my broken life again, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you hope and trust in God, may the Lord favor you and restore you again, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Psalm 34:18
