Focus: Jesus is The Light That Shines
Advent is a season of light, a time to reflect on Jesus as the Light of the World who stepped into the darkness to bring hope, joy, and salvation. His light dispels fear, sin, and despair, and it cannot be extinguished by the darkness around us. This devotional series, “The Light of the World,” invites you to journey deeper into the meaning of Christ’s light in your life and how you are called to reflect that light to others. As we focus on Jesus, the true Light, may our hearts be illuminated with His truth, peace, and love.
Jesus is the Light that pierces the deepest darkness. When He came into the world, He brought hope and salvation to those walking in the shadow of sin and despair. His light cannot be overcome by any power of darkness. As we reflect on His birth during Advent, we are reminded that His light continues to shine brightly in the midst of our struggles, guiding us to truth and life.

John 1:5 – “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
Refreshing for the Day:
So, beloved, take a moment today to reflect on the areas of darkness in your life where you need the light of Jesus to shine. Invite Him to bring hope, clarity, and peace to those spaces. Reflect at the end of the day on how His light gave you direction and comfort. Stay Refreshed!
