So, beloved, another key to change our lives, we must really want to note that would cause us to experience the fullness of the life Jesus died to give us is “to spend time with God”. Spending a quality and conscious time with God should be our lifestyle and never a struggle (1 Chr 16:11). There are certain secrets to issues of life that can never be learned elsewhere, but at the place of constant communion with the Lord (Jer 33:3). Any wonder Jesus from time to time would go to a quiet place to pray and spent time with God the Father. And the Bible has this to say,
SCRIPTURE: Early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up and slipped out to a solitary place to pray. (Mark 1:35 BSB)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: The truth is, our personal time and relationship with God present to us the blueprint of our life. Or put it this way, the spiritual GPS or map to direct and give us directions in life can only be read and understood at the place of our personal time with God (Isaiah 30:21). Haven’t you ever wondered why our Lord and Master Jesus would always sneak out to a quiet place to pray and spent time with God the Father (Lk 5:16). At that time, He would view and reviewed His earthly ministerial chart for proper guidance and direction (Jer 42:3). This is because Jesus understood this key principle.
So, beloved, tell me, if Jesus who is also God could spend time with God in prayer, what about you and me? I, therefore, will counsel you today, as a matter of urgency, to develop and cultivate the lifestyle of spending a quality time with God in prayer (1 Thess 5:17). As you do this, may the Lord continue to strengthen you and guide you aright in Jesus’ name, Amen. Stay Refreshed!

RESPONSIBILITY: So, repent of your laxity today and learn to always spend time with God in prayer. Don’t just do it at chance but make it intentional.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to always spend time with You in prayers, in Jesus’ name, Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you learn to spend time with God in prayers, may your life never remain the same again, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
