So, the joy of Christmas does not only transcend circumstances and go beyond challenges, but it also persists in the face of troubles and difficulties. Yes, it is true. So, beloved, our joy should not be dependent on the merriest of the season or the perfect execution of the holiday plans; rather, it should be anchored in the unshakeable truth that our Savior has come.
SCRIPTURE: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” — John 3:16 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: The joy of the Christmas is all about Jesus. So, let us take a moment to embrace this joy that comes from knowing Jesus. Let the melody of carols and the sweet tune of the jingles remind us of the song of salvation, and the flickering lights and shining ornaments to symbolize the eternal light of salvation. Stay Refreshed and once again, Merry Christmas to you and your family!
NOTE THIS: As we immerse ourselves in the joy of Christmas, let it not be confined to a day or a season but let it become a daily reality.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, let us celebrate and share the joy with others, for the good news is a message of joy meant for all people.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, we thank You for the amazing joy that Christmas brings, may this joy fill our hearts and spill over into the lives of others around us, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: And may the sun of this joy shine daily on us and make every day a celebration of the Saviour Jesus in our lives, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
