THE GREATEST RESCUE MISSION (1)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional www.thefountspring.org
Date: Friday, 6 December 2024
Focus: Jesus Came to Seek the Lost
When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, humanity was plunged into separation from God. Sin created a chasm that no human effort could bridge. But God, in His infinite love, initiated the greatest rescue mission ever conceived. Jesus came to seek the lost—those wandering far from God, trapped in sin, and unable to find their way back. His pursuit of us is intentional and personal. He doesn’t wait for us to come to Him; He comes looking for us, calling us by name, and offering His hand to lead us back to the Father.
Scripture Reading:
Luke 19:10 – “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
Refreshing for the Day:
So, beloved, reflect on the fact that Jesus sought you out intentionally, even when you were far from Him. Spend time thanking Him for His relentless pursuit of your heart. Consider who in your life may still be lost and pray for them to respond to Jesus’ call. Stay Refreshed!
Note This:
God’s rescue mission is deeply personal—He seeks each one of us individually because of His great love.
Responsibility:
How has Jesus sought you and drawn you to Himself? Who in your life needs to hear about the Savior who seeks the lost?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for seeking me when I was lost. Help me to never forget the depths of Your love and to share that love with others who are still searching. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
Prophetic Declaration:
I declare that I am found by the love of Christ. He sought me when I was lost, and now I walk in His light. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
