So, the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem was the beginning of God’s grand plan for redemption—the salvific plan. It is a tripartite reality bundled in one– the birth, the ministry, and the cross. Therefore, the gift of salvation is not a distant promise; it is the reality born in a stable, lived out in the ministry of Christ, and sealed on the cross.
SCRIPTURE: “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” — Acts 4:12 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Salvation is the bridge that spans our brokenness and the wholeness found in Christ. It is the key that unlocks the chains of guilt, shame, and despair, replacing them with the freedom found in forgiveness and grace. So, all the celebrations at Christmas, the carol songs, the twinkling lights, and the gifts represent and echo loudly the reality—” In that tiny, humble manger, wrapped in swaddling clothes, lay the Savior of the world. The purpose of His arrival was to rescue humanity from the shackles of sin and death.” Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: The gift of salvation is more than a ticket to eternity; it is a life-altering, soul-renewing, and purpose-infusing reality.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, let us acknowledge the transformative power of the gift of salvation, even as we share the gift with others.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, we thank You for the incomparable gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. As we celebrate His birth, may the reality of this gift transform our lives and overflow in gratitude and joy, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As we embrace this gift, may we experience the joy of salvation in every aspect of our lives, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
