Embracing a higher life in Christ means living with a heavenly perspective, prioritizing spiritual growth, and aligning our lives with God’s purposes. This higher life transcends our earthly concerns and is characterized by a deep, transformative relationship with Christ that affects every aspect of our being.
SCRIPTURE: “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” — Colossians 3:2-3 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: To embrace a higher life in Christ, it’s essential to focus on things above rather than earthly matters. This doesn’t mean ignoring our responsibilities, but rather viewing them through the lens of eternity. Hence, one of the practical steps to achieve this feat is to spend time in daily meditation on Scripture and prayer, asking God to help you see life from His perspective. Again, foster spiritual growth. A higher life in Christ involves continuous spiritual growth. This growth is facilitated by the Holy Spirit, who helps us become more like Christ. Engaging in spiritual disciplines like prayer, Bible study, fasting, and fellowship is crucial. Stay Refreshed!

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, Lord, help us to set our minds on things above, to focus on Your eternal truths rather than the fleeting concerns of this world. Renew our minds and transform our hearts daily, making us more like Jesus in our thoughts, words, and actions. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
