Transformation in Christ is not merely a change in behavior or a shift in perspective; it is a profound change that begins at the very core of our being. This transformation is dynamic, ever-evolving, and deeply personal. When we embrace a relationship with Christ, we are invited into a higher life, one that transcends our old ways and leads us into a new, vibrant existence.
SCRIPTURE: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: In Christ, transformation is an ongoing process. It is described in the Bible as becoming a “new creation.” This signifies a complete overhaul of our identity, where the old self, with its sinful nature and worldly desires, is put to death, and a new self, filled with the Holy Spirit, emerges. This new creation is not just a better version of the old; it is fundamentally different and infused with divine life. The power behind our transformation is the Holy Spirit. When we accept Christ, the Holy Spirit begins His work in us, renewing our minds and hearts. This transformation is not something we can achieve through our own efforts; it is a gift of grace. As we surrender to the Holy Spirit, He empowers us to overcome sin, cultivate Christ-like character, and live in accordance with God’s will. Stay Refreshed!

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of transformation through Jesus Christ. Help us to fully embrace this higher life You offer. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, renew our minds, and mold us into the likeness of Christ. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
