Surrendering to God’s divine plan helps us to embrace God’s purpose for our lives. It leads to the discovery of our unique purpose in God’s grand narrative. Surrender is an acknowledgment that God’s plan for us goes beyond our limited understanding, and as we yield to His guidance, we step into the fullness of the purpose for which we were created.
SCRIPTURE: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” – Romans 12:1 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Moreso, surrendering to God’s plan encourages us to discover our spiritual gifts. As we surrender, we become open to discovering and utilizing the spiritual gifts that God has endowed us with. These gifts, intended for the edification of the body of Christ, play a crucial role in fulfilling our purpose and contributing to the kingdom’s work. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Surrender is a living sacrifice, a continual offering of our lives to God. It’s a daily decision to yield to God’s divine plan with gratitude and humility.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, we don’t just surrender at the beginning of the year alone, we surrender daily and always to God’s plan as long as we live.
PRAYER: Oh, LORD, help our lives. As we surrender to You, may we be open to discover and utilize our spiritual gifts that You gave to us. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: And may we step into the fullness of God’s purpose for which we were created, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
