STOP RUNNING FROM YOUR DESTINY

TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org

DATE: SATURDAY, 6 AUGUST 2022

Some people spend their whole life running. Running from their purpose, running from what God has designated to make them great, and running from the call of God on their life. We feel it’s difficult and somewhat uncomfortable, so we seek the easy way out. But the truth of the matter is, as long as we’re running, we’re going to miss the greatness God put in us. And there are certain dimensions of increase we may never attain in life. So, God saw this and declared in Isaiah 1:18,

SCRIPTURE: “Come now, and let us reason together,”… (Isaiah 1:18 AMP)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: God has delivered packets of blessings, favor, and abundance along with our destiny. So, when we run from our destiny, we’re denying ourselves of these great rewards of life.
Every good thing we seek in life– the job connection, the appointment, good life partner, are all made available at the place of our destiny. Then when we run from our destiny, we’re limiting our growth and development in life. It may be true that the way to destiny fulfillment is somewhat not glossy, and uncomfortable. Yes, but even at that we can’t run from everything that’s uncomfortable.

So, we must get honest with ourselves, and deliberately engage in accomplishing our destiny. When we get to this level, God will give us the grace and the strength not to expire in the process. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: Running from the call of God on our lives is rejecting the great and wonderful things God has in plan for us.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, sincerely ask God to help your life and cause you to stop running from destiny.

PRAYER: O LORD, help my life. Cause me to stop running from my destiny, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)

PROPHETIC WORD: As you have decided to take up your destiny, may God perfect your plan and manifest your destiny, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!

BIBLE TEXTS: Isaiah 1:18
