STEPPING INTO GOD’S PROMISES (3)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Tuesday, 28 January 2025
Focus: Walking Boldly Into God’s Promises
Message: The start of a new year is an opportunity to leave behind the past and step boldly into the promises of God. Just as the Israelites crossed the Jordan into the Promised Land, we too are called to trust God’s faithfulness and walk into the new things He has prepared for us.
God commanded Joshua to be strong and courageous as he led the Israelites into the Promised Land. Courage was not optional—it was necessary to face the giants, fortified cities, and challenges ahead. Similarly, walking into God’s promises for your life requires boldness and faith.
Courage doesn’t mean the absence of fear but choosing to trust God in the face of it. He has already gone before you, preparing the way (Deuteronomy 31:8). As you step into this new year, walk boldly, knowing that God is with you, His promises are sure, and His strength is sufficient for every challenge you will face.
Scripture Reading:
Joshua 1:9 – “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Refreshing for the Day:
So, beloved, reflect on the areas of your life where fear or doubt may be holding you back. Ask God for the courage to take bold steps of faith, trusting His presence and power to lead you forward. Stay Refreshed!
Note This:
God’s presence gives us the courage to face any challenge and to step confidently into His promises.
Responsibility:
Where do you need to step out in bold faith this year? What promises of God are you ready to pursue with courage?
Prayer:
O Lord, thank You for going before me and preparing the way. Fill me with courage and bold faith as I walk into Your promises for this year. In Jesus; name, Amen!
Prophetic Declaration:
I declare that I am stepping boldly into God’s promises for my life, trusting His presence, power, and faithfulness to lead me forward. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
