The joy of life is felt and maximized when we live it staying true to who we are. Staying true to who you are means accepting in totality who God has created you to be, working very hard to becoming the better version of your kind, and unleashing it for the good of all mankind. You don’t live to impress people; you live to impress God.
The challenge people that want to stay true to who they are face is opposition. It will be like, “this is not how it’s been done”, and they will begin to attack your idea, your style. But not to worry, when they come, take courage, look them in the face and say, “it may not be the way it’s done, but that’s the way that I’m wired to do it”.
SCRIPTURE: So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. (1 Corinthians 9:26) NLT
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: There is an anointing on your life not to be someone else. You are anointed to be you.
Many people today are not being true to who they are because they’re afraid they’re going to disappoint somebody. They’re afraid they may fall out of their good grace; or they may not be accepted in a certain group. I say this respectfully, but you cannot live trying to be who people want you to be, or your boss wants you to be, or your friends want you to be. You’ve got to stay true to who God has called you to be. And only then, will you begin to live satisfactorily, fulfilling your destiny. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS: There is an anointing on your life not to be someone else. You are anointed to be you.
RESPONSIBILITY: Above all things, be intentional to staying true to who you are.
PRAYER: O LORD, I ask for the grace to always stay true to who You created me to be, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: Receive the anointing to stay true to who you are, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
