Today, we shall be looking at another viewpoint on this matter. The aspect of gifting in relationships and in the body of Christ. Sometimes, we often get frustrated at other people, simply because they can’t do things the way we do it, or they can’t do it all. We would push it and almost force them to, but it is never in them to do it. So, we begin to grumble, complain, and criticize it. But the truth of the matter is, we’re all different, we’re not wired to behave alike.

SCRIPTURE: We have different gifts according to the grace given us. If one’s gift is prophecy, let him use it in proportion to his faith; if it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach;  if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is giving, let him give generously; if it is leading, let him lead with diligence; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully. (Romans 12:6-8 BSB)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: A huge mistake that human beings make is they think if they’re good at something that everybody else should be good at that too. But that’s not the way God wants His body to work. He wants each of us to bring what we have, collective gifts and work together without comparison. Loving and appreciating each other’s gifts and abilities. So, beloved, you don’t compel people to be like you, rather encourage them to be at their best. Inspire them to stay in their own lane and do their own thing, and you will get the best from them. Stay Refreshed!

RESPONSIBILITY: So, as you’re staying in your own lane and manifesting your gifts, learn to recognize that others should do same too.

PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to manifest my gifts, and cause me to encourage others to manifest theirs, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)

PROPHETIC WORD: As you remain in your own lane, manifesting your gifts, and encouraging others to do the same, may God bless and increase you and yours, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
