STAY IN YOUR OWN LANE (2)

One of the reasons many people would work hard in life, engage efforts in the work, employ different strategies to same, and yet nothing to show for it is because they’re toiling on the wrong lane. This so disheartening, but it is true. So, beloved, this is one sure take on, where this matter shouldn’t be treated with kid glove. And we, as a matter of urgency, must make necessary efforts to get into our own lane and stay in it.
SCRIPTURE: The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out. (Proverbs 20: NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Lack of proper understanding of this matter has continually relegates many to the ground. And this is so dominantly found among the brethren. The fact remains that doing the right thing on the wrong lane would never produce correct and the right result. And no matter how fast a person travels on a wrong lane, he will never get to his destination. But then, someone will remain on the wrong line of business, on the wrong choice of career or vocation, and nothing seems to be working. He would resort to prayer and fasting, yet all to no avail. Hear this, prayer and fasting is so powerful, but it becomes so effective when you engage it in the right course (James 4:3).
There is one sure thing about principles, emotions don’t change nor modify it. No amount of tears, excuses, or complain can alter it. It can only obey the rule of total submission to the established instructions. And that’s doing the right thing at the right time. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Doing the right thing on the wrong lane would never produce correct and the right result.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, make efforts to find your own lane, get into it and ask God for the grace to stay in it.
PRAYER: O LORD, help me to find my lane and get into it. And give me the grace to stay in it, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you remain in your own lane, may God manifest all that concern you and yours, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
