We all face pressure in life and times when we could feel overwhelmed: the challenge looks too big; we are surrounded with issues we never dreamed for. We thought this pandemic would be over by now, but the world is gradually winding down again to second phase lockdown. Many businesses are nosing down. But when you stay close to God, even in the midst of all these you are highly protected and nothing shall by any means hurt you, (Psalm 91:3).
SCRIPTURE:
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty, (Psalm 91:1) KJV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
When you are close to God, you are too protected to be defeated.
See the enemy has schemes and strategies put in place to try to keep you from your destiny. Many things that were sent to stop you: trouble, calamity, sickness, they had your name on them, they had your address, the reason they couldn’t stop you – is because you are close to God.
When you stay close to God, the scripture says He covers you with his wings, He’ll hide you from things that should have brought you down, (Psalm 91:3).
Beloved, when you stay close to God, you have an advantage – He saves you when trouble comes, and makes you invisible to the enemy. When calamity shows up at your house, He shields you. When people want to harm you, when sickness and sudden death comes, you’re covered under the shelter of the Most High. What kill others can’t kill you. Trouble that defeats others won’t stop you because you’re in a safe place. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS:
When you are close to God, you are too protected to be defeated.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Tarry steadily with God and remain under His safe cover.
PRAYER:
O LORD, draw me nearer to You. Cause me to stay close to You all the days of my life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD:
As you stay close to God, may He protect you from every hidden agenda of the enemy, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
