SOWING SEEDS OF HONOR

Seeds are meant to be sown, gathering a lot of them is great but until they are sown, they may not grow to their fullest. Same way are the seeds of honor; having them is a virtue, but it is not just enough. The significant of honor is maximally harnessed when it is sown into the lives of others. Any time we show honor we’re sowing a seed. Sowing seeds of honor is when we go out of our way to make people feel special, lift and encourage them, to let them know that they are loved and appreciated.
SCRIPTURE: Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. (2 Corinthians 9:6) NIV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: When you lift up others God will always lift you up. When you honor others God will always honor you.
Beloved, every one of us has an honor supply to give out. It’s not going to do us any good to hold on to it. It’s not for us, it’s for others. You don’t intentionally show people honor because of what you will get from them; no, you do it because it is worth doing, for what is worth doing is worth doing well. Pick up your phone, call your boss, your mentor, your leader, tell him or her how grateful you are, tell your spouse, your children, how proud you are of them. Those are not just nice words. They’re not just compliments. It’s deeper than that, you’re sowing seeds of honor.
Let us be nice to people, enough of gossip and slander, let us stop talking negatively about people behind their backs, and develop the habit of honoring each other in love. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS: When you lift up others God will always lift you up. When you honor others God will always honor you.
