SETTING CHRIST-CENTERED GOALS (4)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: SATURDAY, 6 JANUARY 2024
Subsequently, beloved, having taken the time to described and understood the subject-matter, let us now explore fundamental insights to note as you journey through your goals. As you journey towards your goals, cultivate a spirit of gratitude. Yes, that’s true. Recognize that every step forward is a gift from God, and every achievement is an opportunity to glorify Him. In 1 Corinthians 10:31, we are reminded,
SCRIPTURE: “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” – 1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Also ensure that your goals are pursued with integrity. Let your actions align with your Christian values, maintaining a Christ-like character in every endeavor. Prioritize kingdom values. In Matthew 6:33, our Lord Jesus instructs us to seek first the kingdom of God. Make sure your goals prioritize kingdom values over worldly achievements, emphasizing spiritual growth and service to others. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: When you cultivate a spirit of gratitude, prioritize kingdom values and Christ is at the center of your goals, each goal becomes a stepping stone in your journey of faith.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, let your goals be a reflection of your commitment to live a life that honors and magnifies Christ.
PRAYER: Oh God, thank You for the gift of life and the grace that sustains us each day. As we set goals and make plans for the year, we ask for Your guidance in cultivating a spirit of gratitude and prioritizing kingdom values in our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: And may the pursuits of our hearts be centered on glorifying God and advancing His kingdom here on earth, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
