So, one of the steps in establishing the boundaries that would give us control of our life is by owning to the reality that most of the time we ignorantly create or unknowingly allow what we don’t want into our lives. Having said that, we then have to clearly define what we want to accomplish, and the specific outcomes we desire. Then we carefully and consciously plan and budget our time to attain them.
SCRIPTURE: Prepare your work outside; get everything ready for yourself in the field, and after that build your house. (Proverbs 24:27 ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Again, clearly identify your options, figure out your priorities and guard sufficient time for them. Do not allot to yourself more than you actually have time and energy to do. Be truthful to yourself, learn to say no to other people’s agendas that would cost your own responsibilities. Set a limit to what you can do, and do not intertwine your precedence. Beware that, things and many forces will always be vying for your time and energy, but be bold enough to filter out toxic friends, and do not allow their non-performance to stop you from attending to your priorities.
So, be positive, be firm, and be courageous. Always pursue and guard your dreams, set right boundaries to what would contaminate your purpose and make it worthwhile. Stay Refreshed!
