TIMES OF REFRESHING DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org

Consequently, beloved, other functional steps to move beyond transactional faith and conditional commitment to God is to find joy in the journey. Discover the joy in serving God, not just in the outcomes. Find contentment in knowing that your service, regardless of its visibility or immediate results, pleases God and contributes to His kingdom.
SCRIPTURE: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” — Colossians 3:23-24 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Again, serve with humility. Recognize that serving God is a privilege. Approach your service with humility, understanding that God does not need our service but graciously allows us to participate in His work. Emulate Jesus, who served others selflessly and humbly (Philippians 2:5-8). And finally, focus on God’s glory. Make God’s glory the primary focus of your service. Whether you are involved in ministry, work, or daily activities, do everything for the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31). Let His glory be the driving force behind all your actions. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: As we strive to deepen our relationship with God, it’s crucial to move beyond a transactional faith and conditional commitment.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, recognize that your value and purpose in God’s kingdom are not determined by what you can get from Him, but by your genuine love for Him and dedication to His will.
PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart yearning to find joy in the journey of serving You. Help me to move beyond a transactional faith and conditional commitment, discovering the true joy that comes from knowing and serving You. Teach me to rejoice always, finding delight in Your presence and in the work, You have called me to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord strengthen our faith to remain steadfast and immovable, fully dedicated to His work, knowing that our labor in Him is never in vain. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
