RESOLUTIONS ALONE ARE NEVER ENOUGH (5)

One of the flaws in so many resolutions is that God is absent in it. It lacks the God-factor, and anything that lacks the God-factor is as good as invalid. Let’s be honest and truthful to ourselves, we don’t really want to attain our resolution if we’re not willing to give God a place in it. The presence of God in whatever we do in life is a sign and a mark of confidence that our success is sure.

SCRIPTURE: I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5) NIV

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, you don’t involve God in your resolves when it has hit a rock and it’s beginning to nose down, or when you’re having challenges. Maybe when the year is almost rounding off and you’re not measuring up, so you’re under untold pressure, then you remember to call on God. It’s a ‘NO’, beloved. You begin with God, plan with God, continue with God, and succeed with God. Don’t try to make a resolution and expect it to flourish without God. Please don’t try it, it is disastrous. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: The presence of God in whatever we do in life is a sign and a mark of confidence that our success is sure.

RESPONSIBILITY: Do not embark on any venture in life alone, go with God.

PRAYER: O LORD, I invite you into all my plans and goals in this year 2022, let your presence fall on them and cause them to shine, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD: May the presence of God come down upon you and all that you do, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
