REMAINING FAITHFUL IN EVERY SEASON (2)
TIMES OF REFRESHING DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: THURSDAY, 4 JULY 2024
So, beloved, one sure key to remaining faithful in every season of life is being faithful in the small things. You see, faithfulness is not found on the mountain tops or on the far away hills in deserts, it often starts with the small, everyday choices we make. In every season, whether ordinary or extraordinary, our faithfulness in the little things prepares us for greater responsibilities. It is in these moments that our character is tested and refined.
SCRIPTURE: “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.” — Luke 16:10 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: True joy is not the absence of suffering but the presence of God. Like roots deepening during a drought, our unseen moments of faithfulness lay the foundation for strength in future storms. And the discipline of daily devotion and obedience in simple tasks fortifies our spiritual resilience. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: True joy is not the absence of suffering but the presence of God. By cultivating an intimate relationship with God, we can experience a deep-seated joy that transcends our external circumstances.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, as we explore the significance of being faithful in the small things, let us examine our daily lives. How are we stewarding the small responsibilities entrusted to us? Are we consistent, diligent, and joyful in our tasks? How can we cultivate faithfulness in our relationships and spiritual disciplines?
PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the opportunities You give us to be faithful in the small things. Help us to approach every task, no matter how insignificant it may seem, with diligence and integrity. Teach us to find joy in the simple things we do and to honor You in our daily work. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
PROPHETIC WORD: May we embrace the importance of being faithful in the small things, knowing that our diligence and integrity in these tasks honor God and prepare us for greater purposes in His kingdom. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
