PUT YOUR DREAM IN FRONT OF YOU
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org

We’re not particularly increased in life simply for what we know, but we’re greatly blessed if we do what we know (John 13:17). The knowledge of life’s principles is good, but we achieve more of it when it’s practiced. And one of such principles is ‘putting your dream in front of you’. Insight has shown we move toward what we consistently see. We need to keep our dream in front of us, so that when we see it, we’re moving towards it. For it’s said that out of sight is out of reach.
SCRIPTURE: Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. (Proverbs 29:18) KJV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: In Zacharia 4, when Zerubbabel wanted to rebuild the temple, he went and laid the foundation. Opposition forced him to stop. For many years, no work could be done. But the Word of the Lord came to him through prophet Zechariah, he taught him the principle of the headstone. So, he kept the headstone in front of him. And in no distant time, the temple was rebuilt.
The headstone was the stone that was reserved as the final piece of stone for the building. It was symbolic. It represented the finished product. So, why was it important that he keep the headstone in front of him? Because every time he looked at it, it reminded him that God would finish what he started. Beloved, let me ask you, do you have your headstone in front of you? Do you have something that represents the final piece of your dreams? Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS: The dreams you don’t see, you can never achieve.
RESPONSIBILITY: Consciously put a symbol or anything that would be a pointer to your dream in front of you, so that anytime you see, it keeps you going.
PRAYER: O LORD, help my life. Give me the grace to keep on with my dreams, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: May every effort you make to keep your dreams going never be in vain, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Proverb 29:18, John 13:17, Zacharia 4:7,9
