OWN YOUR LIFE, DON’T GIVE IT TO CHANCE (3)

One unfortunate way we ignorantly give our life to chance is by doing things for the sake of doing them and not for the love or passion we have for them. We try to do what is available, not minding if that’s actually what we ought to do in life. We merely live dancing to the rhythm of life, irrespective of the hazy beats. And sometimes, we don’t dance because it’s so melodious, but we dance because we see others dancing. But, dear beloved, life is never meant to be lived that way. Any wonder the Bible says,
SCRIPTURE: Whatever you do, work at it with your whole being, for the Lord and not for men, (Colossians 3:23 BSB)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, always evaluate what you’re doing, and only do it when there is meaning behind them. More so, if you find that you’re already doing what you ought not to do, or you don’t find joy in what you do, please stop and quit. Don’t be afraid to quit the things that don’t serve your purpose in life. Life is too precious to be lived on pretence. Own your life and do the things you love. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Don’t be afraid to quit the things that don’t serve your purpose in life.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, once again, be responsible for your life, own it, work to shape it and never abandon it to chance.
PRAYER: O LORD, help me to never abandon my life to chance, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: May God cause you to always stand to never abandon your life to chance, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
