OWN YOUR LIFE, DON’T GIVE IT TO CHANCE

We are created to live our life to the fullest. But due to ignorance, we have neglected our responsibilities and abandoned them to the trust of chance, to our detriment. We no longer have control of our lives because we have delegated them to the clutches of chance. And now, circumstances call the shots. However, in this today’s devotion, we’re being called upon to own our lives, and never give it to chance.
SCRIPTURE: So be very careful how you live, not being like those with no understanding, but live honorably with true wisdom… (Eph 5:15-16 TPT)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Life sometimes can be so unpredictable. But then no matter how erratic it may be, we must always look forward to what is coming up next, and make a conscious effort to affect our decisions, and never play them into the hands of luck. So, beloved, don’t let how good or bad the circumstances are to influence your results. You must deliberately try to make the best out of every situation, creating your own opportunities and living by them. You may ask, what about the people, their attitude, actions, and behaviors to us?
And I will tell you, be very careful with the way you live. Don’t be trapped in people’s opinion or try living by the result of their thinking. But rather create your own opinion and live by it. We can’t control everything around us, but we can change our attitude towards them. We don’t live by “what tomorrow brings we take it”, No! We must intentionally create our own tomorrow, shape our future, and give our life a meaningful direction. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Don’t let how good or bad the circumstances are to influence your results. You must deliberately try to make the best out of every situation, creating your own opportunities and living by them.
RESPONSIBILITY: Be responsible for your life, pattern it and never leave it to luck.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to take full responsibility for my life, even as I commit it to you in prayers, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: May God cause you to stand to your responsibility over your life, and make the best of it, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
