O LORD, HELP MY LIFE

TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org

DATE: MONDAY, 7 NOVEMBER 2022

Beloved, there is no help shortage in heaven. God is never in a recession or in lack of solution to our needs. His grace is sufficient to meet every of our needs, but only if we will just allow ourselves to be open and available to His will. And to guide us do that, I want to share a few things that can commonly short-circuit our help from God, cutting off our access to His power. So, the number one thing that short-circuits our help is unbelief. Unbelief is the greatest sin. It’s a sin against the highest testimony (John 8:17-18). Any wonder, it is written,

SCRIPTURE: He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:18 KJV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Unbelief is the greatest reproach and undervaluing of God (Isaiah 7:11-13). It blemishes the truth and the veracity of God (John 3:33). As faith gives glory to God (Rom 4:20), so unbelief casts reproach and scorn against God. So, the straight and simple of the matter is, God cannot help a man who does not believe in Him. Therefore, for anyone who needs God’s help must first and foremost believe in God. He must also believe in Jesus Christ (Rom 10:9). And until then will God, listen to His cry of mercy and help him.

So, friend, the big question now is, do you believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit? Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: God wants to help us, but He wants us to fully plug in to His amazing power that comes through His grace.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, ask God for mercy and the grace to be fully plugged in Him.

PRAYER: O LORD, please forgive my unbelief. Now, I come to You, I believe in You, help my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)

PROPHETIC WORD: As you run to God and believe in Him, may He look upon you with eyes of mercy and help you, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!

BIBLE TEXTS: John 3:18, 33; 8:17-18, Rom 4:20
